Wouldnt be worth it even if it was free. They are not fixing the crash issue. Do not buy, not worth the headache. I shouldve paid attention to the feedback before hand.

I used this and the software wouldnt start or load. :( Im not sure if its the new version or just the ipod. Its terrible.

This amazing app helped my career

Im a musician/song writer thats always writing and singing on the go. I love this app. I thought it could use a few of my ideas I had. Wrote Simon with it. And now it works great! If you all think it can be better? Then tell him your ideas and maybe he can fix it or make it better. Otherwise its a great app!

I open my songs and cant even type in them..what gives? Please update immediately

I figured out how to edit lyrics and title to songs: tap the button next to the little microphone. It lets you edit and add chords to your songs. Best songwriting app ever!

After the latest updates, this is an absolutely awesome app! You an input chords now, way easy to create an entire song in just minutes. Highly recommended for any forgetful musician like me.

This is a great app. I have no problems, and I like it so much.

No Docs, No Quickstart, No real reviews. Not worth five dollars, Maybe $.99. I emailed the author for how to use and got no answer. Great apps have docs, help files, or videos. this has none. If you cant use it, where is the value. Lazy support (none!) Dont buy until you try. Maybe instead of having your friends write reviews, you could give some support for your app. Pretty sucky for a wasted $5.00.

This app was great until they reformatted the screen for the iPhone 5. Now on the 4s when you get down past a certain point you cant see what youre typing because the keypad blocks it. Please fix and I will give this a 5 star rating.

The app is awesome. Its easy to use and the voice recognition is spot on when dictating lyrics. It also has the ability to record musical ideas quickly. Ive written a bunch of songs since discovering this app and have a dozen ideas. Great app

The best app ever! Makes life way easier!

So far this app has helped me construct section of songs when Im away from studio. Has been great for that. The only major problem Ive had was syncing my lite songwriter from drop to songwriter after I purchased it. Really wanted to transfer those songs so I could delete the lite songwriter. Almost done with those songs so Ill delete soon anyways but beware that if u like the app just buy the songwriter app so u dont have to fight with Dropbox that wont restore backup to the payed app. Now I did email Simon for help to resolve issue & he emailed me back once & Ive tried to contact him again & no response. So unfortunately customer service is not good. Update-I have used this app for roughly 6 months now & I think this is a good app but not great. It gets the job done. I have since moved over to Songwriter Pad. This one is freakin awesome! I can sync my songs thru cloud by just pressing sync with the one on my imac in my studio-i dont have to go to a bunch of screen to add & sync just press sync after I login! And the simplicity of this app is simple & makes it easy for me to focus on writing rock music & not on the program. And customer service is A++++ they get back to you quickly!!!! This is probably my first review ever for an app-I believe youll be writing more songs with songwriter app b/c u wont be focusing on the program.

This app has everything a songwriter needs to write on the go. Every feature is amazing, and i cant think of anything it is missing. Just discovered the dropbox linking capabilities. And customer support is top-notch as well. Worth every penny!

This app is great for writing lyrics, including chords and arranging song structures. It has a nice chord bank (with banjo and ukelele). I like that you can select the key of the song, transpose and apply capos and see what the chords change to. Makes it easy to try new keys. My biggest complaint is that there is no way to print from the app. You have to email yourself a PDF file and print from that. Otherwise, this would be a five star app. Please come up with a printing option! It really would be a lot easier.

STILL MY FAVORITE APP. Spook too soon. But thats only because theres been so many cosmetic changes when there shouldnt be for a writing app. People get used to what the platform they see already and it grows on them. Also, when in editing mode the toolbar should be able to be hidden, plus the color green is too invasive. A light pulsating on the marker or darker press tone grey would be much better. The original colors still are better. I think Ill get the hang of this app. Just leave details on changes on your site so we can leave feedback there, instead of getting surprised.

This app has made my songwriting flourish. I love the simplicity of adding song parts and recording them separately right below the lyrics. The dropbox backup is also awesome. Im saving my fifth star for when they figure out how to synchronize the voice recorder files with SongWriter app. That would be the bomb!
